VJP Services is run by Vicky Pateman.

I have worked in both the private and public sector, having most recently worked in Local Government for over 15 years.  I have substantial experience in proofreading and editing documents aimed at a wide variety of audiences, especially leaflets and publications for the general public.

I have always loved language, and I enjoy both its simplicity and complexity.  Even the most technical subjects can be communicated more easily if written clearly and without ambiguity.  I enjoy working with authors - whether of books, reports, essays or letters - to help them put the final polish on their hard work.

I have very high standards of English, and enjoy reading, whether for pleasure, for work or for education; I have just finished studying for a degree with the Open University.  I deal with every commission personally, and I do not sub-contract.  With my excellent skills and attention to detail, I believe I can work with you to communicate with your audience clearly and professionally.
